The Reverend Matthew Grunfeld began his call as rector of Emmanuel in October 2008.  Fr. Matthew is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta and the General Theological Seminary in New York.  He comes to Emmanuel from the Diocese of Atlanta, where he served as deacon at St. Mark's in LaGrange.  He has previously served at the Church of the Holy Trinity in New York, at Emmaus House, an inner-city ministry in Atlanta, and on the chaplaincy staff at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
